Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or goods to customers within designated time windows
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize delivery efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure optimal condition and safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and operate delivery vehicles safely
- Strong knowledge of San Diego metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from shift locations
