Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Obtain proper signatures and verify delivery addresses to ensure accuracy.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Organize the delivery vehicle to maximize efficiency and ensure the next shift starts smoothly.
- Update delivery status on the mobile app in real-time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone (iOS or Android) for navigation and communication.
- Physically able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
