Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated drivers who take pride in their work. As a Delivery Driver at Bay Area Express, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our clients receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. We provide the vehicle; you provide the drive.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within San Jose and surrounding areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance while on the road.
- Interact with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Utilize handheld devices for GPS navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation apps.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
