Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Obtain digital signatures and proof of delivery for all shipments.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including the interior and exterior.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues courteously.
- Utilize GPS and route-planning software to optimize delivery routes and minimize delays.
- Report any accidents, damages, or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have a reliable smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and communication.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
