Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods to residential and commercial destinations in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a perfect driving record.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall mechanical condition.
- Utilize mobile technology to log deliveries, update status in real-time, and manage paperwork accurately.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, ensuring a pleasant environment for the driver and passengers.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps and digital logging.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
