Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Omaha metro area with accuracy and speed.
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the community and team.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the delivery truck in optimal condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a friendly and efficient delivery experience.
- Manage delivery documentation accurately, including receipts and proof of delivery logs.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are secure during transit.
- Utilize GPS navigation tools to find the most efficient routes and avoid delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with smartphone applications for navigation and order tracking is highly preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues is a plus.
