Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and school policies
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation coordinators
- Respond promptly to route changes or emergency situations
- Maintain clean and orderly bus interiors
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL with School Bus endorsement (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate bus controls
