Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in Jacksonville, FL, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and communicate professionally with customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Utilize handheld devices and mapping software to optimize delivery routes.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's brand reputation.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigating and documenting deliveries.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy items repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must reside within the Jacksonville metropolitan area.
