Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are handled with care and placed in the correct delivery order.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain customer signatures where required.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and log maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional geography in the Omaha area.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
