Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout New York City.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Utilize handheld devices to navigate routes, update delivery statuses, and communicate with dispatch.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring packages are handled with care and delivered on time.
- Inspect delivery vehicles and equipment before and after each shift to ensure they are in good working order.
- Manage cash and digital payments accurately for drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Report any road hazards or vehicle maintenance issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Current auto insurance and vehicle registration.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must have a reliable smartphone compatible with our delivery applications.
- Strong knowledge of New York City streets, bridges, and traffic patterns is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
