Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Chicago metro area with accuracy and efficiency.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicle.
- Utilize company software/apps to track orders, update delivery statuses in real-time, and communicate with dispatch.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling packages with care.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is road-ready.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery windows and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a reliable vehicle (or be eligible for company vehicle use) with current insurance and registration.
- Basic smartphone proficiency to navigate using GPS and delivery apps.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs or curbs as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
