Responsibilities
- Safely transport products to residential and commercial locations in Charlotte and the greater Charlotte area.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Verify delivery addresses and collect payments or signatures as required by the transaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays, issues, or special instructions.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks before and after shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift without assistance.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps and communication.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the local distribution center.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and diverse neighborhoods.
