Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated addresses in the Houston metropolitan area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure accident-free driving.
- Interact professionally with customers, including checking IDs and obtaining signatures upon delivery.
- Inspect vehicles before and after shifts to ensure cleanliness and proper mechanical functioning.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile applications to update delivery status in real-time.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and resolve any issues regarding lost or damaged items promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on courtesy and reliability.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with GPS navigation systems.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
