What You'll Do
As a Delivery Driver at SwiftLogistics, you are the face of our brand. Your primary focus is ensuring our customers receive their orders with a smile. You will navigate the streets of Austin with efficiency and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses within the Austin metro area.
- Load and unload packages with care, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
- Verify recipient information and process digital signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
