Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate assigned routes efficiently.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage using handheld devices.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Handle returns and damaged goods according to company procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Colorado Springs area and surrounding regions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries.
- Reliable personal vehicle is a plus (if not using company truck).
