Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Chicago metro area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile applications to process orders accurately and track inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting politely and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation apps is a plus.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
