Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport and deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and are free from damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and contact recipients to ensure successful drop-off.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform pre-trip inspections.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
