Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to various destinations in the LA area.
- Prepare and inspect cargo for loading, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
