Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses in the Boston metro area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with care, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Navigate complex city routes using handheld GPS devices and online mapping tools.
- Update delivery status in real-time via company app and communicate any delays proactively.
- Handle cash or digital payments for COD deliveries accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone with internet capabilities (Android or iOS).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with the Greater Boston area and traffic patterns is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
