Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, retail, or package orders to customers across Boston and surrounding areas
- Maintain clean, organized, and temperature-controlled vehicles for food safety compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and order verification
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and handle cash transactions when required
- Perform routine vehicle safety checks and maintenance reporting
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to insured transportation (commercial vehicle provided)
- Excellent knowledge of Boston neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/doorways
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Food handling certification a plus
- Smartphone with GPS capabilities required
