Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently onto delivery vehicles.
- Verify and inspect delivered items for accuracy and damage before customer acceptance.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to strict time schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service, including friendly face-to-face interactions and package handling.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures for COD deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle interior.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and change.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy packages (up to 50-70 lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for GPS and app usage.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
