Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation for timely deliveries
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficient with smartphone technology and navigation apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
