Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for any mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and electronic proof of delivery records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions professionally, and resolve delivery issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, including heavy lifting when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a standard state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and accessing navigation apps.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
