Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated customer locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling of fragile items.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling billing inquiries and feedback with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or professional setting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
