Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations within the Cleveland area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload merchandise using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers, maintaining a positive company image.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Accurately log delivery information and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to follow GPS and route maps.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
