Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Load/unload freight efficiently with proper equipment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventive maintenance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
