Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures for all shipments.
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues promptly.
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean MVR (no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years).
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving or delivery experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Long Beach/Virginia area.
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment).
- Professional communication skills and punctuality.
