Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Efficiently pick up and load packages using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Verify packages against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy and complete paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience and resolving any delivery issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Report any vehicle damages or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery software is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
