Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, or retail items to designated locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
