Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses within the Seattle metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and security.
- Verify packages against delivery lists and obtain signatures when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to maintain timely delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong navigational skills and proficiency with handheld delivery devices.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for navigation and communication.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
