Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles over long distances (OTR) on dedicated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Manage and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving environment within the cab.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer service regarding delivery times and issues.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement procedures.
