Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks on dedicated routes across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition to various commercial and retail locations.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to resolve any logistical issues.
- Ensure the truck and cargo area are kept clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, navigation tools, and map reading.
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
