Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated cross-country routes
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight efficiently with minimal touch requirements
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and report equipment issues
- Maximize on-time delivery performance through efficient route planning
- Maintain clean driving record and professional conduct at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (4-5 days/week)
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
