Responsibilities
- Operate dry van trailers on dedicated California routes with 100% on-time delivery performance
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization and load adjustments
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery verification procedures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS compliance
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic logging systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Current DOT medical certification
- Familiarity with California highway systems and port regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Pass background check and drug screening
