Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on dedicated regional routes between California and neighboring states
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system entries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all company policies
- Utilize advanced GPS routing systems for efficient navigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
- Knowledge of California and Western regional highway systems
