Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailer for dedicated regional routes
- Safely transport freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding shipments
- Coordinate loading/unloading at distribution centers
- Follow safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Familiarity with ELD compliance and electronic logging
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
