Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes with predictable schedules
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route adjustments
- Ensure secure handling of specialized freight during transit
- Maintain electronic logs and compliance paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 1+ year dedicated OTR experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer safely
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (home time guaranteed weekly)
- Must reside within 50 miles of Fresno, CA
