Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated OTR routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care
- Maintain accurate trip documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery schedules while ensuring on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Flexibility for extended overnight travel (4-6 nights/week)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
