Responsibilities
- Operate modern, well-maintained trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict safety standards
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery tracking
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and required documentation
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight stays (4-5 nights per week)
- Pass background check and TSA clearance
