Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailer over long-haul routes throughout the continental US.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of cargo to designated terminals and consignees.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Must possess Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of hours of service (HOS) and safety compliance.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
