Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers over long distances (OTR) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring compliance with weight and balance regulations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and company safety policies.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and shippers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of interstate traffic laws and cargo securement.
