Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks over long distances (Over-The-Road) to deliver cargo on time and in pristine condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to represent the company professionally.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
