Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load delivery
- Maintain excellent customer service during transit
- Utilize GPS navigation for optimal route planning
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain through training)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience (or clean 3-year MVR)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for regional travel (typically 8-10 hour days)
