Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-distance transportation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across the Southeast
- Maintain accurate trip logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- No prior trucking experience required
- Valid Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to travel for extended periods (2-4 weeks)
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- 21+ years of age with valid US driver's license
