Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated routes throughout the Southeast US
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries and pickup scheduling
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation
- Represent the company professionally at client facilities
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
- Flexible availability for overnight trips (3-5 days/week)
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Southeast US
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
