Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify potential issues and ensure the vehicle is road-ready.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and complete all necessary shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Cargo Care: Properly load, secure, and unload cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Customer Relations: Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and dock personnel to ensure a smooth delivery process.
Qualifications
- License Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
