Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customer doorsteps in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery van, ensuring proper handling and organization of inventory.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and addressing any delivery inquiries.
- Follow route maps and delivery sequences to maximize efficiency and ensure 100% on-time delivery rates.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the delivery van and staging zones.
- Adhere to all safety policies, traffic laws, and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License issued by the state of residence.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with handheld technology for scanning packages.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local delivery station.
