Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on dedicated routes within the continental United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and daily paperwork to ensure compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA hours-of-service regulations.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different climates and terrains.
