Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over long distances (OTR).
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure cargo according to load plans and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
