Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently over long distances (Over-The-Road).
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA) and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding schedules and delivery issues.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling the demands of the job.
- Willingness to travel and work varied schedules as needed.
